After many years of working in pet care, I began to notice something important. While many services covered the basics, few truly provided the level of attentiveness that allowed pet parents to fully relax while they were away.
I met so many loving people who had previously struggled to find care that felt consistent, thoughtful, and genuinely nurturing. They didn’t just want someone to feed and walk their pets. They wanted reassurance. They wanted reliability. They wanted to feel that their pets were not just being watched, but truly cared for.

I’ve always loved creating calm, joyful, and nurturing environments for pets. I started Cariño because I wanted to combine my love for animals with a more thoughtful, personal way of caring for them. Something that feels like family.
I’ve spent 15 years caring for pets and nearly a decade working as a professional photographer. Over time, I’ve become someone who naturally notices small shifts and subtle cues. When I’m with animals, my main focus is simply helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
When I’m not with pets, you’ll usually find me spending cozy afternoons with my own furry companion, wandering thrift stores for hidden treasures, or on a very important mission: hunting down the best espresso martini in town.
